All Things Cascadas | March 2019
Thanks to a tremendous joint effort of our management team, the hotel association, and the local authorities, the arroyo silence continues. Last week the massage tents and several of the illegal food outlets within this area were shut down as well. It’s important to note your management team takes the peace, quiet and safety of our members and guests VERY SERIOUSLY. Viva Cascadas!
Beautiful Club Cascadas is averaging around 95% occupancy this winter. High occupancy might be due to the extreme cold through the U.S and Canada, but it’s also due to the magic of Club Cascadas. Our members keep coming back for longer vacations each year and our first-time guests fall in love, tell their friends about Club and keep coming back year after year!
Last year, for the very first time, Club Cascadas applied to obtain the worldwide distinction from the FEE (Foundation for Environmental Education) as a beach area that meets the criteria for security, cleanliness, water quality, among many other qualities. To maintain the distinction, we undergo a yearly renewal and are subject to various inspections. Club is working hard to maintain the honor of being Blue Flag certified. Mauricio Quezada (COO) represented Club at the meeting and presentation with FEE executives, the Los Cabos Mayor and related local authorities. We are most proud to say that a picture of Club was featured as part of FEE’s global presentation.
Positive Sales Numbers
Last year the on-site sales department completed a total of 211 sales including helping 75 members that were wishing to sell. Members received $1,460,000 last year derived from the on-site sales program after costs and taxes. Try to find another timeshare resort in the world that paid their members anywhere close to that amount last year. This is another reason Cascadas is so special!
Don’t Let Your Villa Sit Empty
Did you know Club Cascadas averages a 10 to 15% ‘no show’ per week? These are members that didn’t show up and didn’t let us know they couldn’t come down. If you let us know you can’t make it, we can help another member or guest enjoy Club Cascadas. We pay you for the use of your week, and we get a happy guest on-site which is good for everyone!
Why not plan a summer get a way to beautiful Club Cascadas for the whole gang? Cabo is safe, fun, and affordable and offers lots to do for all ages. Summer is a fantastic time to enjoy the many activities Cabo has to offer and the sea temperature is great!

We all know having construction going on during your vacation is not ideal, but Cascadas is unique as there has been no special assessment and we have successfully renovated over half of the resort. As the resort gets renovated, the value goes up. The value of the Las Palmas villas above the lobby increased after being renovated, and last year we had the same effect on the villas in buildings 21, 22 and 24. If you haven’t seen the newly renovated villas you owe it to yourself to check them out next time you’re in Cabo. Simply ask Jorge or Felix, your friendly margarita servers at check in and they’ll be happy to schedule a tour!
Club Cascadas Helps Non-Profits
Members that support a non-profit can request a one week stay in a one-bedroom villa from July to October that will be donated by Club Cascadas and can be used by the non-profit for a fundraiser. One week per member until our allotment for this purpose runs out. For information email Dave Stoenner email@example.com.
And as always, if you have a question or concern….
We value each and every member and guest. If you have a question or concern related to Club Cascadas or Cabo San Lucas, simply reply to this email and we’ll get right back to you with the answer firstname.lastname@example.org.
